Virtual Author Talk Series

The Virtual Author Talk Series, offering an exploration of literature and ideas with bestselling, award-winning, and highly acclaimed authors from around the world. Friends of Drake Community Library  generously supports the library’s participation in the Library Speakers Consortium, which provides the online program.

This free, virtual series will showcase prominent writers and thought leaders covering a diverse array of fiction and nonfiction genres, catering to audiences of all ages. Each month, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the featured authors through live discussions and Q&A sessions.The Virtual Author Talk Series will take place two to three times a month, providing opportunities for book enthusiasts to participate. The events will be hosted online, allowing attendees to join from the comfort of their homes.

All events will be recorded, allowing those unable to attend live sessions to access the discussions at their convenience. Recordings will be available for viewing on the Drake Community Library’s Virtual Author Talk Series.

All events are free and open to the public. Registration is required to participate in the author talks.
