We have partnered with the IowaWORKS office in Marshalltown to bring career and workforce development services to the community every third Wednesday of the month from 10 am to 3 pm. Each month a Career Planner will bring all their tools and resources to the library and make themselves available to assist customers with IowaWORKS services such as:
- IowaWORKS account setup and management
- 1-on-1 appointments
- Career Planning
- Resume Development
- Mock Interviews
- Workshops
- Skill based training options
- National Career Readiness testing
- NorthStar Technology training (computer & internet skills)
- Job Development
- Referral to Partner Programs
- Unemployment Questions
The first session will take place on Wednesday, April 16th from 10am to 3pm.
