With the support of Friends of Drake Community Library, there are 18 take home STEM kits available. Each kit contains 2 books and STEM materials to foster creativity, literacy and critical thinking. Kits have a range of themes and suggested age-ranges listed on the tags; ages 3 to 6, 4 to 11 and 7 to 10, as well as its contents.
The kits can be found in the Children’s Area. Kits may be checked out for one week and are for at home use. Each kit is zip-tied closed. You can view the contents and suggested age-range on the tag. No holds, courtesy holds, or renewals are allowed. We ask that you please return the kits to the desk (not the book drop).
